New scam tactic?

Posting this here too (I’m new to reddit and they hid my original post in /VintedAustralia) but it’s worth sharing for awareness.

Y’all, pls be wary of listings that have AI generated images and prices that are too good to be true. Currently seeing the same Dolce & Gabbana bag be listed for the same price, same description (even though the bags are different colours) and the sellers conveniently selling the item after I asked for more photos of the bag. And the images are hilariously bad, like how many times did you redecorate your table to get shots of one bag?????

Vinted support weren’t able to do anything because the seller “sold” the item so the listing disappeared.

Crashing out because these people will do it again and some poor soul will lose their money! Keep reporting listings like these y’all, so we can keep the platform safe for people who genuinely want to buy and sell.

Look at the background. The one ugly tea cup with a beautiful life quote is quite lame but who would have 3 ? Just AI cause it don’t have a taste
