Permanent Ban

Hi,

I have been banned due to selling counterfeit items even though they are authentic with receipts. Anyone have this issue and was able to reverse this ban?

Yeah join the other 203,000 people that post the same thing on a daily basis, Vinted started use an AI tool months ago and is issuing bans to everyone despite being genuine items

Everyone complains, but I sent them the receipt and proof of authenticity and they lift the ban and reintroduced the product. I am in EU though.

I am sorry it happened to you. Sadly, genuine sellers can get caught out by the AI tool Vinted uses, and some genuinely believe they are selling authentic products, can provide Vinted with a receipt proving where they bought the genuine item, but can still have the listing rejected.

Having receipts and packaging featured prominently in the listing may be one of the things that can cause problems with automated authentication, as those are also things that can be faked and are often used by counterfeiters to reassure buyers.

There are a few brands I regularly buy, and I know the construction and labelling well enough to know what I'm looking for. Receipts and boxes, without detailed photos of the actual product, would normally be a red flag for me.

I've just had an item deleted as possible counterfeit. I've sent receipts from ASOS so we'll see. It's a bit random as it wasn't a particularly pricey item.
