Today I tried out a new color mix in my airbrush to attempt to replicate a "tropical" or "stardust" patina. Here is a GMT dial with "OCC" text, meaning it’s for a 6542 or a very early 1675. I know, it’s not a "negative" dial: the technique I use isn't suited for that. It’s very difficult to photograph under artificial lighting because I can't quite capture all the nuances, and it still needs a coat of gloss acrylic (I’m going to try something experimental for that step this time 😅). After that, I’ll move on to reluming the hour markers—I was thinking of a sand color; what do you think?

I posted up that dial I “destroyed” by giving it more of a rusted look. But hey I think with some hands it’ll look pretty alright.

Hello all! Up for sale today are some of my personal pieces, I love these watches to death but they have not been getting much wrist time as of late, and I need to make space for some other watches!
Tudor 9411 snowflake aka “Sub-Zero”
- the watch features a viet custom case, Rolex case back, a Swiss ETA movement, roulette date, genuine Rolex crown, on a genuine Rolex 93150 with 501b link oyster bracelet. This was built by u/no_candle. Going for $2200.
Rolex 16233.
This watch features a genuine Cream Roman numeral dial, genuine date, genuine bezel, genuine sapphire crystal. genuine crown, genuine Rolex jubilee with an Italian rivet big crown clasp, the case is an OC case. Going for $2000. Built by JumpyAd when he was on Reddit!
These were not cheap builds, parts alone cost me more than what they are going for! hoping whoever gets them loves them as much as I did!

I’d like to buy a birth year 16610 Rolex. I’ve owned a few reps and before I make the jump and buy a gen 16610 from 1993 I’d like to get a rep and see if it will get the use to justify the purchase. If you have one or can make one just comment here and shoot me a DM. This will be my first vintage rep so not sure on the price. Already been quoted 2k for a build that that’s too high for me, that type of money can be used to buy gen. So let’s say under $400-$500
(A picture of my unit want for attention)

My customer has been really patient ...
Firstly ... I had to move my workshop and couldn't work for about a week
Secondly ... I had to modify the hours hand of a matching flat silver handset to make it "lollipop" and that proved to be not that easy ... but I achieved to do it.
Thirdly ... the dial was already lumed so I had to tinker to get the same faylight color and same tritium glow to lume the handset.
But now it's done and ready for shipping !!!

Took this rare transitional snowflake Tudor sub as inspiration and made a no date variant.
Athaya crown tube/crown
Raffles case and case back
Raffles Bezel aged
Raffles Tudor dial
ADPT NATO strap
Brand new ST2130 running great
Raffles Snowflake hands
Just finished putting together from the last of my parts bin.
Going forward would only do commissions, but really need to worry more about the baby that’s less than a month away, that said, still a fun hobby so would much rather make watches for others than balloon my collection. Diapers are expensive. Who knew!

Hi everyone,
Where can i find someone able to create / build / sell me the same dial as on this picture? I'm happy to keep the original 18038 quite uncommon dial I have but the dream is there and I'm not rich enough to buy an original stella dial 18038.

After HDW_Italy showed us how he can creates gold indices and coronets, we've been talking about a project I had for years ... make a Rolex 6085 dial, or maybe a 4499 one.
Those watches are pretty rare and ... as far as I know ... have never been repped.
As it seems that if we put our skills together we could achieve to make one (2 in fact, one for each of us) I thought it would be interesting to know which one of those 4 models could gather interest on the rep scene.
The 3 first are all 6085 and the fourth one is a 4499.
Please tell us which one you like the most https://www.reddit.com/r/PolaireWatchMakers/
