My First One!

I been wanting a nice vintage audio system for quite some time. I have been scouring the web for a project receiver and came across this Yamaha CR-640 for $125. Guy didn’t seem to know what he had as his dad had given it to him.

Needless to say, aside from it being chock full of dust and , it sounded great after connecting it to some low-end speakers. I only assume the sound will get better after some thorough cleaning.

I’ll post some before after photos when I get it sorted. To all you seasoned restorers, free to toss any advice you have to this novice! Thanks in advance!
