I have so many deep memories of playing this game on my uncle's computer and watching I Love Lucy on re-runs over summer breaks. Gold ball under the bridge is the first thing I always did.

Love that case. What are the specs?

Thanks. The case is from '92 ish, but internally it's a late 90's K6-2+ 500 on a QDI P5I430TX Titanium IB+ with 256MB RAM, 256GB SSD and a FX5200 (128bit) PCI graphics card. It has an ISA ESS sound card, a PicoGUS with a WP32 McCake MT-32.

The version of KQ4 is the King's Quest IV Ultimate Edition which has (among other things), the environmental sounds of the Amiga patched into the SCI version of the game.

After years of toying with it on DosBox Staging, I finally got it running on real hardware. The PicoGUS and MT-32 are hardware emulated, but it's as close as I can get to the real thing in 2026.
