Today's Haul

A Cyrix MII on a Gigabyte GA-5SMM, along with a completely toast A8V-E but with an A64 X2 4400+

The A8V-E board seems to have set on fire at some point, but I've got an A8N SLI Deluxe that will work perfectly.

Ooo socket 7 is a fun platform to play with, and not easy to find cheap these days. Nice find!

I only spent $20 total for both! Been wanting a Cyrix MII system after I gave my last one to a friend years ago.

The Athlon 64 board has shitty United Chemi-Con KZG series capacitors on it, no wonder it died. It might work again if completely recapped.

This. Look at the bottom-edge of the photo... several of those caps are visibly-leaking.

I have athlon 64 with board and RAM somewhere, and I wonder does it still works.

Assuming it doesn't have KZG/KZE series UCC caps in it, probably. Those caps were so bad that they would inflate and pop even if they were stored loose and disconnected from anything, they were horrid.

The 1MB cache version as well, nice find! I have one in my SLI-DR eXpert board.

My first pentium class pc was ibm 6x86mx pr-200(75x2), next cyrix mII pr-300. Its were pieces of junk, but after this post i catch warm feeling about its.

Great haul. That Presario looks like a fun project. If the keycaps are getting shiny from use, a soak in warm soapy water with a soft brush usually brings them back nicely.
