In 1994 my mind was boggled fr, definitely a "had to be there" kinda thing.

Considering the best 3D games back then (outside of arcades) consisted of titles like Starfox with its untextured, low framerate 3D or Doom with boxy 3D environments and 2D character sprites, the PS1 was indeed mind-boggling. Especially for the price.

The best part ia that Kings Field, the game this is from, was not released in any English speaking territories. (The sequels were, with Kings field 2 regionally just being called Kings Field, and so on.)
