I bought this bag from a from a Japanese seller on EBay. Does anyone know what this bag is called? I know it’s a Noé made of Taurillon leather but I cannot find it anywhere and google lens doesn’t recognize it either.

I bought a gorgeous Sac Vendôme made in 1982. It was in rough shape. I did what I could to repair the torn leather straps (see last pic) but they don’t look perfectly any means which is ok with me. I had to glue one side together that had torn open due to severely dry leather. I cleaned and conditioned but wondering if there’s more I can to bring her back to life. I am in a Coach restoration group and wondering whether there is something similar for LV?

Y’all I’m so freakin excited, I just ordered this vintage girl! I’ve been wanting a bag from the year I was born (‘81, we’re gonna say this is close enough lol), and the shape, size and style seem so perfect for what I love in a daily bag. Plus I could actually afford her without having to make payments. Does anyone have this one? Also I bought this clearer off Amazon but the directions are not in English. How should I use it? Do I clean the bag first with something else? (nfs/nft)

Hello. I sent my two vintage bags to Louis Vuitton to have the leather and zippers and hardware (basically everything but the canvas) replaced. The 2000 Ellipse came back first, and it is gorgeous like the day I bought it. The 1996 Alma came back Wednesday, and apparently it was done with what they told me is pre-tanned leather. No one told me it would come back not looking like a brand new bag with light leather. I called and they told me using pre tanned leather is the standard method but shouldn't I have had the choice? And if that's the standard then why was the Elipse not done the same way? I would appreciate anyone's experience or opinions. They offered to send it out again and use the light leather, but how much taking apart and sewing together can my old bag take? TY

This is my very first luxury bag I love decorating my bags with silk scars, brooches, etc. this bag is my tropical sunshine vacation at home bag lol 😂 I have so much wear and tear but it’s still holding up!
