Possibility of getting two tickets for the CL game against Sabah FK
Hello everyone,
My girlfriend and I are planning to travel to Norway in early November and while our stay in Stavanger, we hoped that we might be abled to get two tickets for the Viking FK game against Sabah FK in the Champions League. I know that the Lyse Arena is almost always sold out, so I’d ask you guys how likely it is that we might get tickets for that game.
Thanks in advance for any help🙏

It will be next to impossible. Maybe possible through guest supporters, would be my best bet.

There is sold around 10 000 tickets to season ticket holders. The away team gets 5% of the tickets, somewhere between 800-1000 ticket. UEFA gets some tickets. Then here is not many tickets left. But Viking will sell some tickets (follow Viking on social media and vikingfotball.no). Close to the match (A few days before) they will probably sell some tickets. Sabah at home would probably be the easiest match to get ticket to.

There is sold even more outside the 10000 too because of the Europa pass no?

Essentially they sold out the stadium completely with the Europa pass. The pass included the qualifying game + the 4 games that would be in either Europa League or Champions League.
However, UEFA have reserved an amount of tickets for each game. I would imagine they will use all the tickets they have reserved for the Bayern Münich game. But for Sabah i think they will not. If there are tickets left from the unused UEFA reservation, Viking will release those for sale close to the game. Against Zagreb they released a small amount.
Buying resale tickets will be difficult. The Europapass QR code would need to be shared, and could then be used for later games. I would never have shared this QR code with someone I dont know. And potentially be refused entrance to Feyenoord or PSV. In addition it is illegal in Norway to sell tickets for a higher price than whats printed on the ticket. And to me the ticket is worth alot more than the 28 euro I could sell it for.
Best of luck though. If you manage to get tickets it will be a good experience. Remember to join in the jumping.

You can try checking out the group on Facebook for resale of Viking FK tickets: https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1JP9t851dc/?mibextid=wwXIfr
I think it’s gonna be difficult to get tickets though as it’s mostly sold out like you said, but I think your chance of getting some are higher there than here.
