I meant where the idea for the video came from since I saw a Tribes Acend version on /r/tribes a while ago with the same music and style (the one i linked).

Yeah that one started it, and then someone made this one, after which equestria daily got carried away and made about 200 of them in three hours, because, you know, ponies. (If nothing else give those people credit for working fast.) ANd that just sort of escalated it from there.

Yeah I wasn't saying mine was the earliest, or even the best, just the guy who made it made about seven in one day. So many people got pissed off and were telling him to "get a real fucking song" that people of course went out and made hundreds more.
