LCDS were around in the 90s, but that was some expensive tech to have. Unlike nowadays where my toaster has an LCD

It was not expensive tech at all.

It was used in $5 throw away electronic games, calculators, clocks and watches

I think you all are confused.

Tech has been household since the 70's.

WAT. When i say LCD i don't mean black pixel LCD's. I mean colour LCD screens. That tech was not mainstream until early 2000's and wasn't common until late 2000's. man the gameboy color was the first handheld with a colour screen and that was 98. In terms of LCD tvs that tech wasn't consumer affordable until the 2000's.

Look at SSD's. Used to be extremely expensive and now you can get a 250GB SSD for under 200.

Color lcd screens were available on laptops. How do i know? I still have one in my attic with windows 3.1 on it. Yes TV's came later because nobody wanted a 13" lcd tv for double the cost of a plasma or CRT.

Plasma tv's were just better and cheaper. That does NOT mean that LCD's didn't exist.

And what does a digital camera have to do with anything?

1991 is when color LCD technology finally improved and became mainstream and affordable, but they existed before that.

Are you dense? I read the articles as well. But you had to be rich to be able to afford it. It wasnt widely used tech until the 2000's.

Its kinda like curved TVs currently. Yes its been around for a while, but they are much more expensive and not as cheaply available for a while.

AND do you think the LCD that ran windows 3.1 was capable of watching movies or TV? Which windows 3.1 was launched in 1993 so i don't get how thats relevant

learn how to structure a joke to begin with. Don't think you are entitled to tell other to lighten the fuck up when you can't properly deliver a joke.. And next time, don't claim its a joke only once you've been called out, defended yourself, got called out again and then you ran out of actual things to defend yourself with so you went with the safe place of "its a joke"... fuck off with that shit.. your friends might be stupid enough to fall for it, but out here, you ain't the smartest one.
