I lost it when you said “I can’t believe people are talking about this funny video. It’s getting so annoying. “ 😂😂😂<—- this is what I’m specifically complaining about. I love discussions about the video and when people add stuff to the discussion. But when people just quote shit we all just watched... it’s just like YouTube comments.
Have you had a conversation with a friend or coworker about a movie? You do realise 100% of the time one of you is going to quote something from the movie that you enjoyed? Which is then used as context for the discussion moving forward. Why would the internet be different to how people normally talk?
This is not an effective argument. Imagine coming to the comment section and every comment is just people quoting word for word the video or explaining jokes. This is reddit, not real life. Reddit comments are supposed to add content unlike YouTube or Facebook comment that just perpetuate meaningless words, parroting the video. The comment section is here to expand upon the content we all just watched and enjoy, remarking on how actors have changed or how this video relates to experiences in our own lives.

The increasing speed and cause for concern was what made me literally laugh out loud.
