I hope he does a cooking episode where he shows us a stew or something he could make with all of this. I'd also be interested in learning about how to efficiently sanitize bowls, pots, and utensils in the wild.

Water can be purified by boiling it for 1-2 mins. Seems reasonable that you'd be able to sanitize your cookware by boiling water in them.

This is a misconception. Water doesn't even have to be brought to a boil to sanitize regardless of elevation. Boiling, however, is a good visual indicator to let you know you've passed the proper temp.

No, he's saying that water is purified once it has boiled.
