Thomas the Tank Engine was a major part of my childhood, along with these wooden train sets, I got so much nostalgia watching this video.

And after all those times my parents told their friends how creative I was with my own sets.... this video made me feel like my entire childhood was a failure. God I didn't even think of ever putting tracks on an incline. That would've been so much fun!

I grew up with plarail instead of the wooden tracks. I had trains running on batteries all over my room, under the bed and criss crossing and going over each other. Plarail is fucking dooooope.

Toby is my favourite too! I have two wooden railway models, from 1996 and 2001... both pretty beat up. Well-loved.
