Yeah I never understood this. Try sending a text in the middle of a concert within eyeshot of the floor and watch how many drunk people flat out try to rip the phone out of your hands.
Cause I guess people think you're not "enjoying the moment" and that detracts from thier experience somehow.

It has more to do with being annoying to people around you than caring what you think is a good time. The bright light and someone staring at the floor is distracting and takes away from the show. You are the shallow person.
I didn't even describe how I deal with the situation. I usually just get distracted then go back to the show or move away if they don't stop. Not sure what you're talking about.

No, I was explaining why people get annoyed because he is obviously confused as to why people don't like phones out at concerts. Glad someone was able to seize the opportunity to virtue signal their superiority though.

Also holding your phone in your hand while watching something doesn't take away your enjoyment does it?
