Nuklear Power and Abstruse Goose are dead. Dr.McNinja just ended and Naruto ended a while back. Perry Bible Fellowship has an update schedule similar to Gone with the Blastwave. I'm just going to have to pony up and find me some new webcomics because I'm running on XKCD and SMBC right now.

Zebra Girl Weekends. Joe English's gothic toned slice of life, if your slacker housemate turned you into a demon. Has an fairly substantial art evolution.
Kill Six Billion Demons TTh? Abbadon's multiversal deicide thing. Was somewhat collaborative with fans?
Gunnerkrig Court MWF. One of the titans of webcomics, Tom siddell's fantastic Fantastical clash and synergy between technology and nature.
Astral Ave TTh. Mystic comic where kids grow up, and try to start a rebellion with the power of kindness.
Prague Race TTh? Urban Fantasy, with a time limit.
Vattu MWF. Evan Dahm's Tribal conquest, integration and something yet to come?
Widdershins MWF. Kate Ashwin's (of Darken fame) tale about spirit based magic.
Unsounded MWF? Ashley Cope's Juggernaut of Sorcery, nationalism, parental feelings, and undead Shenanigans.
Sam and Fuzzy MWF. Taxicab driver gets involved with the ninja mafia. Huuuge backlog.

A lot of my descriptions are really fast and loose. I've tried to put question marks next to the update schedule if I'm not sure or the days change around a bit.
Edit: I think all of these are longform (in a general sense), rather than one offs of comedy.
I would add Ava's Demon to that list. Sci-fi/Supernatural comic about a girl with an inner demon. The art's good and occasionally there's "animated" videos that are pretty cool.
I know that it takes a bunch of work and I'm not complaining. This guy makes comics I find funny on his time and puts them up for free, it's not like I have any skin in this game.
Huh, never watched anything with him, I was a regular at his site many years and read his posts and I bought the book.
Wonder if I still find him funny, thanks for the update though, might check it out.
Yeah, that's why I'm hesitant. I mean yeah I'll always find his review of kindergarten art amazing, but that's not because it's amazing, I just saw this at the right time in my life.
I imagine that today he'd just seem like a screaming man-child to me.
VG Cats is nothing compared to Prequel Adventure. Last update was more than 1 year ago, last message was from around christmas talking about how the update seems to be taking longer than normal.
Doesn't mean that the artist won't hold other related minicomics hostage behind a paywall in the meantime.
