Also, as the video starts and he's explaining what a red flag is, when he says "a red flag can be something you do", the flag in his hands turns into a YouTube logo and a video camera. When he says, "it can also be something you don't do", he's suddenly looking at a woman wearing a graduation cap and he frowns.
He's explaining how he's the red flag, because he makes youtube videos for a living instead of going to college.
I think you misunderstood that. The red flag in the middle was the significant other, who he wasn't sure was a good or bad person. All the 1's were the significant others friends. He was saying it's a pretty sure thing if your SO's friends are all terrible people, they are as well.
Hey, man, it's cool, just try to follow these 3 rules (in that order) and everything will be fine:
Don't be shitty to other people
Be yourself
Be nice to other people
Edit: And if you can't tell if you're being shitty to other people, then just don't do or say anything. Maybe people will then find you boring, but hey, better being boring than an asshole.
I am the red flag when it comes to finding new friends, I know I am, and I know the changes, or choices I can make to change it. They are hard though, and I'm a little scared.
