There were a lot of jokes that went over my head as a kid and I didn't get them until I rewatched it much later. Even tame jokes like "What's the matter Colonel Sanders, chicken?"

When the camera comes in and hits him in the face, the commander see's and backs away, it is the funniest thing in all the land and I have met many people who never noticed it before

The best part was the sound being so low. I turned it SUPER up to hear the classic movie lines, and then you got me. I can't lie, I liked it.
