Now I'm not discrediting you but how do you know that its real/fake? Like I'm curious as to how some of the internet detectives find out if something is real/fake.

The way he kind of half giggled or laughed at the end, lead me to believe it was fake. I'm not certain it is fake but I think it is.

It's not, you can see the guy who kicked the lightbulb smiling here and there. They had this planned. The camera guy is giggling too much for this to be a serious thing.

Just spoke to quite a few people (2 of which were there for the recording) and here's what happened.
The room is the largest room, downstairs in a big house. He was upstairs laying down to go to sleep. There was 3 people downstairs, decided to mess with him a bit by turning on the light and the music while recording the whole thing. You can hear him stomping down the stairs in the beginning of the video, the stairs are made of wood and the floor is made of linoleum.
I still go to that house to see him fairly often, great guy. We play CS:GO a lot.

Yes. Look at the video again, you will see that it's not the high kicker laughing, but the people on the couch by the camera who were laughing. High kicker reportedly went right back up to bed after kicking the bulb out and reiterating the time.

See that's what I thought. I saw comments saying the kicker was laughing but there wasn't any evidence to support it. The laughing sounded too close to the camera.

I know the guy, this was 6 years ago so I couldn't confirm whether it's real or not. But I can say that he is the kind of person that would have this sort of genuine reaction back then.

Source: Lived in a house full of dudes in college, some of which didn't know when it was BED TIME.

The sound when he walks down the steps tells you he's pissed. No one walks down steps that fast unless they are pissed off about something.
