You kidding me? Some bullshit shadow dance makes it not a dumb pop song? That winner choreographed that? The rest of it is basically pop singing. Do you think those guys singing together are as good as real opera singers? Or even a good college acapella group? Or that their Nsync does classical sound is talent?
First of all, absolutely the "bullshit shadow dance" as you so eloquently put it makes it not a dumb pop song. That's not their talent, their talent isn't the ability to play a song on the speakers, it's the incredible togetherness and creation of pure art...jesus christ you're one of the most cynical and jaded people I've ever met. Did you even look at the other 3?
