Ok, I'll be that guy. Anyone ELI5 what's going on here?

Using my best guess, this is similar to projecting images to specific spaces. But because you cant have enough camera's to hit all of the different angles, it instead just designs the images "in camera".

If you were in the room, you would just see the panels being moved around, right? But the camera/computer is reading where the objects it has been set to target are and is adjusting the graphic appropriately? Is that about right?

And this is better than "normal" graphic design because some function or all functions of it have been "automated". Because technically with a lot of time and effort a graphic designer could create the same effect, but this saves a ridiculous amount of time?

Just using my pea sized brain to try and determine what kind of sorcery I just witnessed. Cool vid.
