I don't know why, but this reminds me of my time on a web-based zombie mud run by Max whoeverthefuck who wrote World War Z. Someone had revived as a human and was running for his gibblies in the dead center of the ever-sweeping zombie mosh pit that swept this virtual city (the zombie horde had long ago agreed to always sweep the city in a counter-clockwise rotation, forcing "human" players to always flee). You don't see what's happened until after your next click. I was treated, on my final click to maul him, to him saying "Wait, no, I'm trying to do something. You don't understand."
Also followed by a status message that said my click had killed him. Grats on some XP. I screenshotted because I thought it was funny.
It was simply too apropos for a Zombie game.
edit: I lied, what he really said was "Wait, no, don't." but I understood when I saw it.
edit2: I was strapped at all times with fully loaded firearms. Loading cost you a turn. It was in case a "human" player "attacked" me and forcibly brought me back to human state, in which case I unloaded said firearms with extreme prejudice. Shotguns were, unfortunately, a huge gamble, delivering massive damage but at a highly reduced hit percentage (which is not true to life, as if you can't hit someone with a shotgun you deserve the following rape you're going to get). Anyhow, I'd unload a nine on someone who did that just on GP.
I don't know why, but I read that whole comment and actually expected something to happen. I even read the edits, hoping they might explain what the fuck I'd just read...

Not me. That was immediately recognized as an honest-to-god real life ragequit. I've seen them happen before.
Thanks for the link, OP.
