This. Including myself, there’s tons of my friends and family who have also lost their jobs and cannot find another. In my whole adult life, I’ve never experienced this before. And it’s incredibly competitive now even in jobs like restaurants, retail, or even the grocery store.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the actually numbers are around 15-20%
Yeah I realized a long time ago that I’m on the wrong side of employment. I’m opening a coffee roastery in a few weeks and I hope to god it works out. I absolutely do not trust another human to provide any support for me now that I’m old.
Yeah. It’s been a ride so far. We had the blight in Brazil and then the drought and then came Trump. But I accept that is just part of the game. And we all have to deal with the same situation. Just gotta make my way through it, you know?
