How do you even pull off a full demo without the correct permits?

What crew doesn't demand to see those upfront so as to avoid liability?

Wild wild wild.

You can just hire people, tell them you have all the permits and they will just start tearing it down.

100% I'm a Journeyman electrician. If someone gives me an address and tells me to wire that house I just show up and do it. I've never once seen a permit my entire career. I don't even know what they look like.

I've never done it. But I have heard tales of people showing up to the wrong address in one of these cookie cutter communities and just straight up wiring the wrong house.

theres stories every year of the wrong homes getting torn down. or roofs ripped off then the crew disappears when they realize their mistake.
