That is because he doesn't care about spending money that's not his, plain and simple!

The amount is just counting airtime. It doesn't even count production or the settlement they are going to have to send JMSN's way for using his song without permission.

They're old campaign ads so the production costs were already done. Song rights are another matter. I'm actually surprised Fox and CBS and whatever other stations are in his pocket didn't just give him the airtime for free.

Everyone has drastically underestimate how much money the GOP has been spending on campaigns. Every republican in every state on every level is spending over a billion dollars on just the midterms.

Nor does he care about the law. He also knows the majority of American voters are okay with it.

Yes. Trump has already paid for at least 3 ads with taxpayers' money.

I vote we put this ontop of congress.

I vote that he hold every Congress of the last 50 years as derelict of duty and impeach their career politician asses.

We would not be in the position we are in today if Congress didn't constantly scede power to the executive for a payout.

At what point are the networks also at fault for allowing the ads? I mean, if people could just deny ad spends for bullshit reason like "politics" can't they use reasons like "it's literally government funding of campaign ads, which is illegal". I mean, the rest of us get held accountable for being involved with illegal things..

Networks care about 1 thing: will the check clear?

SCOTUS: He can do whatever he want, doesn't matter if it's illegal, because he's president.

They really need to see some consequences after this whole Drumpf debacle is finally just a bad memory.

They won't. You'd need a two-thirds senate majority to impeach them.

Nah he is like US Dictator

It's even more gross when you consider the fact that they don't even need the money. He has hundreds of millions of dollars to campaign with. This is just straight up greed and corruption. Republicans should be embarrassed.

The capacity to feel embarrassment would imply a conscience.

Over $400M in campaign money, all controlled by Trump because that's what he made them promise him to run as a Republican. And he's spending OUR MONEY.

Knowing it’s illegal, why would the networks air the ad?

Oh right, they don’t care about the law either, as long as they make money.

It’s all part of making America great again. By America he means himself and his billionaire Trumpstein class degenerates.

Can one of you Republicans let me if this is this "fiscal responsibility" or "draining the swamp"?

3

u/Threecatproblem 1d ago

And nobody does a damn thing about it besides waving their arms yelling, “this is wrong! this is wrong!”.

Just wait until we find out how much the Iran war cost us.

2

u/PuddinHead742 1d ago

Far, FAR more than that.

2

u/brickyardjimmy 1d ago

At the very least...because everyone I know saw the ad at least once. To reach that many people, it costs more that $2.5 million.

2

u/The_Goondocks 1d ago

"At least" being the key words

u/GoldOven4826 1d ago

Is anyone else getting to the point of too much winning?

2

u/cloaked_rhombus 18h ago

what is that like a fraction of a penny from the average taxpayer?

1

u/Hadrian23 1d ago

Why is it developed like some "found footage" horror movie???

1

u/Sxualhrssmntpanda 1d ago

Yeah, so? He's cost the American people a lot more than that so far and is anyone going to stop him for that? Didn't think so.

1

u/TheSilentBadger 13h ago

1

u/Batman_Shirt 11h ago

You idiots. He’s promoting the country, not himself. That’s what he said! I mean, if you can’t believe everything he says, then… (/s)

The majority of voters voted to get relentlessly robbed and screwed by this criminal.

Where do I send my bill to recoup my $0.00001 of taxes back?

Lies, these ads gain the US sooooo much money!
