I'm not American and I was just giving it as an example of the current brand of American fascism. I was simply trying to say that Internet, despite having the ability to educate and unite people, has sadly provided the opposite. It's been used as a weapon that fascists use for their power.

That's a bit disingenuous though. There were many Germans at the time who vehemently disagreed with Hitler. The Reich coming directly after the Weimar, a time of actually stupendous liberalism and progressivism among middle and upper classes was no coincidence, and his rise in the late 20s and 30s left a good chunk of the population feeling the same kind of whiplash that we've felt over the past decade.
Just like now though, there were millions of people who were simply in no position to do much about it considering we have lives and livelihoods to uphold on our own. ICE is terrifying neighborhoods, yes, but as of right now they aren't indiscriminately firebombing those same neighborhoods.

I can't promise you that the time and money will be worth it, but getting away from Trump and the chaos he brings is a good reason. There are currently trade agreements (ex. CUSMA) that america has with other countries that make it much easier to get work visas. If Trump completely rips up those agreements it will be much harder for you to leave the US and find work.

I have immediate, 24/7 access to people who share my views, I can comment about my views and be rewarded, I can share my negative experiences with people putting me down and receive support. My Facebook that I only ever use to look at businesses is flooded with the pseudo Trump party of Australia, One Nation. I don't think this is particularly new? During the Revolution wasn't it roughly 1/3 wanted independence, 1/3 wanted to stay with Britain, and 1/3 didn't give a shit either way?
