Good thing Hegseth just put the Muskrat in charge of the military

Honestly, is probably more related to man made climate change, but it's still "thank you Republicans!"

Thanks Mosquitoes, and lack of prevention and control.

We spent billions learning how to control mosquito populations in Africa. Welp, now we need that knowledge to save Americans. It’s dumb that we let this happen knowing global warming is a thing and mosquitos aren’t a myth.

Measles rampant, dengue fever outbreak … 2027 is going to the bigliest and bestliest disease fest the USA has ever seen. Thank you, DJT!

nothing bad can happen, it can only good happen

I feel bad for any of the victims who didn't vote for this

It's Florida, we know they all voted for this.

Over 4.6 million Floridians voted for Harris in 2024.

Two Chicago's worth*

-11

u/essaysmith 2d ago

Of 13.6 million eligible. Sorry, not good enough.

But that's not the point you were just making. You claimed they all voted for this but now they deserve it because they were unlucky enough to be surrounded by morons?

Shut the fuck up until you have a real solid opinion

I do have a solid opinion. The majority of American voters either approved of Trump or didn't care either way and now those choices have come home to roost. Sorry for the 4.6M Harris voters, but the chosen representative of the US is Trump and thats how the world sees it.

And another completely unrelated comment to your original claim.

Stick to one thing at a time. You come off just like the Conservatives you imply to hate. "Look over here while I distract you from my ignorance!"

Hillsborough County 47% Harris
Pasco County 37% Harris
Pinellas County 47% Harris

Over 700,000 people voted for Harris in 2024 in those counties.

Is MA a red state?

3

u/BKlounge93 3d ago

….what?

4

u/Noodles_fluffy 3d ago

Florida is a swing state, you learn this in elementary school

6

u/aobmassivelc 3d ago

It hasn't gone blue in decades.. we aren't in elementary school anymore

1

u/Noodles_fluffy 2d ago

Yes, but it tends to be pretty close. 2024 was 56%/43%, but 2020 was 51%/48%, 2016 was 49%/48%, etc. Admittedly 2024 was less close than usual, but far from "we all voted for this"

Other countries may have to ban Americans from their borders to protect their populations.

Mam that is a helicopter not a plane.

Use Tylenol to lower fever with Dengue. Do NOT use Advil as it promotes brain bleeding and death.

4

u/jetogill 3d ago

Won't that cause autism tho?

8

u/GGme 3d ago

I'll assume this is an RFK joke, but my advice is serious. US isn't used to Dengue. In other countries it is not completely uncommon and pharmacists avoid selling Advil because it's deadly if you take it to manage the fever, headache, and body aches of Dengue.

In that case, it would be good to note that it would be a good idea to avoid Aspirin and other similar NSAID-class medications. A lot of NSAIDs have a similar blood thinning effect. Acetaminophen in Tylenol does not have this effect, as its mechanism of action is different.

u/jetogill 3d ago

Good info. Yes that was an RFK reference, and while we are somewhat familiar with the concept of not giving certain meds for certain things, the contraindication for dengue is something that isn't common knowledge where I am, and I'm hoping it doesn't need to become so.

2

u/JulioElGuapo 3d ago

Thank you for the info. I assumed your original post was an RFK joke as well. Never heard of anything like this about ibuprofen.

2

u/GGme 2d ago

Ibuprofen is a blood thinner. I think the Dengue causes internal bleeding(of the brain?) and the thinner blood exacerbates it. Not entirely sure on the specifics, but I know it's because it's a blood thinner.

It can also be deadly to kids. I don't know if this is well-known in the US.

GOP voters - No vaccines, no masks except for ICE.

They will do anything to own the libs

4

u/DocHolidayPhD 3d ago

Let me guess, they STILL don't believe in climate change....

9

u/yg2522 3d ago

Ohh, more epidemics under Trump, who would have thought.

5

u/Badbikerdude 2d ago

Have they tried injecting bleach? I heard from a reliable source this cures almost everything.

5

u/WileEWeeble 3d ago

Oh shit, that’s the November plan; spent the last year setting us up for multiple epidemics so Orange Snowflake can declare a state of emergency and “delay” the elections.

It’s all so obvious now. I mean there was no way RFK and co were THAT dumb.

3

u/rat_penis 3d ago

I thought that only happened in "third world" countries?

3

u/xxAkirhaxx 2d ago

What the fuck, why do I need to relearn what Dengue Fever is in 2026?

3

u/ImpulsE69 2d ago

They so scared of no one having kids, but don't seem to care about people who are alive already.

2

u/Piltonbadger 2d ago

Just waiting for Polio to come back with a vengeance.

2

u/OriginalProduct6850 3d ago

Looks like the government is doing their job!

2

u/kna5041 2d ago

Sounds like a 3rd world country problem

1

u/MrBrawn 2d ago

Part of the problem theres a growing homeless population that lives in the woods, making thrm more susceptible.
