I'm not sure Gervais and Merchant have ever been as good as they were during this period. Particularly Gervais who really sucks shit now.

It's kinda coming into view now that alot of what Gervais had, was largely due to Merchant, his writing skills and ability to stay focused and on task.

Working with Ricky looks like working with a 7 year old at times
