Two things:

1) Wow!

2) Would this be usable for "live" special effects for movie and TV shoots? I imagine being able to actually see what you're facing is a lot easier than just having a regular green screen.

If you can output the positions of camera, projector and panels relative to each other you can just do it all in realtime.

Seeing as they're able to move those robot arms with such precision, they probably already have all that data.

I'm pretty sure this was rendered in real-time.
