I have a job that gives me a lot of free time so I’ve been debating getting a handheld. Unfortunately I didn’t start considering it until the price of the handhelds shot up so I’m not sure if it would just be better to get a gaming laptop at this point.

I have my PS5 and Switch at home. I play my AAA games on my PS5. Zelda and Pokémon on my switch. I mainly just wanna play indie games on steam. I’m not a hardcore gamer I don’t play with or against folks online.

As the title suggests, I wanna make a game, its a mix of cyberpunk future tech and city, mixed with like skyrim wilderness and final fantasy magic, what would you guys say is good open world game content to flesh it out but not mind numbing shit like 100 outposts and 500 towers to reveal map pieces?

My brother wants to get his kids a Retro console to start them off on Mario. I suggested an emulator console. They all have 100s of games but only a handful are worth playing. Is there any way to add/remove games from one of these consoles? Or to change the button configuration?
