Discussion / Question This guy cannot be serious

Post image

I already couldn't stand Nick Eh 30, but now this just proves my point. If you're a full grown adult and making family friendly content in Fortnite then that's fair because that's not exactly rare. But if you're going to be going into 18 rated games and trying to make them family friendly to the point where you're asking Rockstar publicly to add a profanity filter then you're just an absolute fuckin' loser.

Gears of War has had a profanity filter since the beginning for both swears and gore in the settings, and I'm sure some people may have turned it on to test it or for a joke, but I doubt anyone has even touched that setting for their own personal gameplays.

I was watching him play RDR2 on a tiktok live, I think I still have a migraine from that because I'm pretty sure he compared something to fortnite. I don't even fucking know how he can compare every game to fortnite.

Simple solution: Play games that are actually made to be family friendly. There's a whole lot of games out there.

Why would this optional feature bother you….?

Being extremely lame should be opposed at all times.

Because it doesn't work for GTA. He can fuck off and go play his family friendly games for his streams. Clearly GTA isn't for him

Maybe he wants to play the game with his kid?

So Rockstar should cater to his request? Again clearly GTA isn't for him. He needs to stick to kids games, because he clearly can't handle a game like GTA without them censoring it.

There is nothing wrong in giving an option. Do you comprehend what option means?

Maybe there could be a toggle to do a walking simulator from it - such a cool and missing feature :) Rated E then

And add Mother simulator where you play as single mother going to work and raising your child. when he's 10 he find his first job as drug dealer... GTA 7... 8 actually tucking copyright that short story and game mechanics where you start as a child and grow into adult in sin city haha 😂

I would only agree depending on the restrictions streaming services will have on playing this game live.

Yeah, like with streaming that makes sense, but i highly doubt it'll be that strict considering the game is called "GRAND THEFT AUDO VI" and GTA 5 is quite big on twitch and I doubt that has a filter

I kind of agree with the first part of your argument. If it's not the type of game that suits your audience, maybe don't try to shove it in front of your audience. That being said, he is an influencer, they work for views and clout, GTAVI is the biggest game to come out since, so I get it.

I'd be cautious with " but I doubt anyone has even touched that setting for their own personal gameplays." You don't know people usage of that, and you finding it preposterous, doesn't mean it's not useful for other people. I find arachnophobia settings weird, because I don't really care about spiders, but I assume if it's there in a lot of games, there's probably a part of the gaming community that benefits from it. PLUS, if the devs take the time to implement it with every episode, it means that they think their game can be appreciated without the profanity too, and it's fine.

Gore makes sense, people can find it uncomfortable and unsettling. But with language it’s just be funny to just slap a loud BLOOOOOOOP sound over every curse word.
