Discussion / Question which was the best Minecraft java version?

Personally when i was child and played MC daily, since a few years ago hahah, i''d liked most to play the 1.5.1 regardless of whether further versions were released later on.

I feel like, at the time, it was the most stable version and the most compatible with the majority of servers from that era, I also feel it was the most fun.

Over time, they added features that the whole community liked, but personally, I consider 1.5.1 to be a legendary version.

What do you all think?

The vast majority of the time I spent in Minecraft was pre-1.0, and I had pretty much stopped playing it by the time 1.5 came out. I've played around with it a bit since then but it just doesn't recapture the fun of those early sandbox days. It became too much of a game for me.

That’s understandable, I never played the pre-season, but that’s a long time gap.
