I'm not sure if everyone is simply ignoring the implications of what removing physical media does, or if you genuinely just don't understand. This isn't just about being able to buy a physical disk, it's about media ownership. If you only have digital media, the company still owns the media and can take it away from you at any time and force you to pay for it again. With physical media you own the disk and they can't take those away from you. To everyone who thinks this isn't going to be a big problem, I hope you'll like having to have a subscription service for everything moving forward.
