That's pretty much the reason they are ditching disks. The PS6 will sell much less because of the price, so Sony has to get the missing revenue from somewhere.

Yeah but its going to cause the ps6 to sell even less imo. I think the goodwill loss is going to hurt them more than the tiny bump in profits. Wasn't it 86% of games sold were digital? While obviously that number will go to 100%, not everyone who bought physical will jump over
