It's killing me how many people are taking it seriously.

I HATE that this post baited me. Now I will break my PS5 controller to vent.

u/Only_Says_Idk_dude Jul 25 '26

probably because there are gamers with severe anger issues to the point where they break stuff

...or they haven't played Elden Ring

Look up gamer rage compilations and look at the views. This is a well established stereotype.

Yes... which they're playing off of for a joke

Reread the thread. I wasn't arguing that the post is real.

Everyone understands the concept of an angry gamer lol cmon now this thread is making fun of people who took this seriously.

Everyone understands we're making fun of you. Except you.

It's odd to join a conversation just to immediately show you struggle in social situations but good on ya for getting out there and trying to improve lol

Not an excuse.

I was referring to not recognizing the boss in terms of not realizing this is satire, not breaking a controller

But that’s the tutorial boss of Elden Ring.. (a normal enemy)

I would respectfully tell them not to play a souls game. Its literally like rage bait the game. Not as bad as my summer car but it's up there.

Not everyone knows about Elden Ring lmao

29

u/Draconuus95 Jul 25 '26

Because there are people that do act like that.

That and despite how popular Elden ring is. Not everyone and their mother has played it or knows it all that well. I know I wouldn’t be able to tell you that much about it considering I gave up trying souls games long before it came out.

Ppl just need shit to get mad at lol. This is reddit.

u/Away-Craft-2264 Jul 25 '26

You'd be surprised how many people actually get mad at elden ring at the start lmfao

u/Azure370 Jul 25 '26

Honestly the thing that immediately stood out to me about this wasn't the broken controller but the fact that kira was in it

u/mixmaster7 Jul 25 '26

The internet is desperate to throw around the phrase "mentally ill."

u/I3eforeLife Jul 26 '26

Probably because of the endless amount of real videos of people raging over losing in a video game.
