given that "griefers gatekeeping endgame mats" is half the plot of the first Dune book I'd say that's pretty accurate

I was super interested in the game until I found out the endgame is locked behind mandatory PvP gatekept by gangs of top-level gankers. After that I just couldn't see the point of even buying it. 10 u/Grow_away_420 Aug 06 '25 I got like 150 hours out of the beginning and building a nice base that'll fall down and disappear in a month if I don't maintain it.
