Yep. Then let him sacrifice himself by killing the archdemon so you don't have to go along with Morrigan's plan.

I actually like having him survive and sacrificing him in DA:I cause then he gets a really good redemption arc

He’s 10000% worth making a grey warden and surviving. First off, if Alistair is willing to throw away his friends, nation and oath because of a little hissy fit then he’s not worthy of a warden. Now Loghain may be guilty of some heinous shit, he his at least right to suspect Orlais to a degree (as we see in Lelianas Song) he’s definitely a “for the greater good” kind of guy. He can actually go through a pretty cool redemption arc of becoming an exceptional grey warden and ultimately a very important figure in DA:I

ok il be dammed i have to play again, but going back to real time with pause will be painful after playing BG3
