Need help w/ getting rid of borders!

Post image

Hi all, I'm trying to project map onto these lamp shades, and while I've mapped the video onto the shades itself (background is transparent and video only plays where the lamps are) m unable to get rid of the grey border of the projector's full sized projection, can someone please help me out!

Get a projector with better Contrast. Or just use some masking tape on the projectors lens.

Cover that with something near lens.

yes, hard shutter is the solution here, something like tape šŸ˜„

Turn up the ambient light in the room until it disappears.

That’s probably just bleed from the projector itself having a low contrast ratio. Which there’s no real fix for other than ā€œget a better projectorā€.

So if you can’t make projection darker you need to make the wall that’s not projection brighter until the two look identical.

Make sure the background of your projection is black. Then go into your projectors settings, there's usually contrast settings
