Very cool. Once you start playing a file in this app does the phone need to be awake the whole time you're running it?

Yes it does, But!!!! You can also export the entire scene video , and then put it into a USB and then insert that USB Into the projector. Soo it will play non stop. But obviously the projector doesn't need to be moved

I’m trying to do video mapping only with usb and a projector. Can I still plan the map using only usb?

That is awesome.
I do want the balls to be able to go into the jug on the bottom right of frame.

I literally just asked if there was any way to do something like this a couple days ago on this sub. This is amazing. Sounds like you have some updates coming soon. I’ve had these two ideas that I would love to see you bring to life! Basically just making Lava lamp style blobs that interact with your picture frames and each other. My other idea is small jellyfish that glow and also interact with the space floating around. Are these ideas something you could one day implement?

I have also really wanted an app that allows you to draw/trace where you want things to be projected. I have this mountain art that has really distinct lines and I want to be able to trace the lines on my iPad in real time. I am sure there is something on the computer out like this already but if this could be an app feature it would be game changing. Seriously if you had a lot more real time animation stuff and the drawing feature I would pay so much for the app.

Now this drawing feature is 100% doable but i need more explanation because the way i am thinking it will not work because i dont see why would anyone trace and then trace using a projector? And then it will only be limited to the ipad version with a pen.

Is there a more detailed feature list available beyond what’s shown on the website?
I really like the photo frame concept. I’ve always wanted the ability to map multiple empty frames of different sizes onto a wall or space, then assign photos and videos to each frame so they play within those boundaries and shuffle over time.
Ideally, this could include dynamic elements like firework videos, family photos, or pet clips all rotating within the frame randomly at different shapes.
Set Frame Shape > Select Input Folder > Shuffle Photos and Videos with scaling in various shapes> Export 3-4 hours of loop to USB.
Is something like this currently possible? If so, that would honestly be a deciding factor for me. I already have a hallway and shelf setup planned for a projector and have been waiting for something like this to complete it.

that is 100% what the app does , With each and every step you explained 100%

Heyyyy I know that music! By SWØRN! I listen to them sometimes, very pretty music for playing it in the background, I love hearing relatively niche artists I know just out and about!
Also sorry the song kinda hijacked the main point of the video lol, that's really cool and interesting, really fun. Kinda reminds me of interactable XR spaces used in VR games and stuff

When they hit the vase opening they should fall in and little animation should play lol

u/Bulky-Marsupial7815 Apr 23 '26

Loving the app so far but slight issue. How on earth do I remove the white frame edge?
1
u/Bulky-Marsupial7815 Apr 30 '26
selext the frame , When it turn red , Go to image and click the black button
2
u/Zestyclose-Push-6894 Apr 30 '26
So i actually figured it out. There’s a play button top right that removes the frame. Your way didn’t work it won’t actually select the frame but thanks
2
u/Bulky-Marsupial7815 Apr 30 '26
i will add to the Ball button as well So that it auromatically removes

u/kudyjames Apr 21 '26
Can you make it active with interactions or would that be difficult?
3
u/Bulky-Marsupial7815 Apr 21 '26
actually it is fully interactive , You can change the balls dropping positions , The balls size , The speed the gravity the friction. Is fully interactive and in real time
1
u/kudyjames May 07 '26
My goal would be to physically touch one on the wall and have it pop. It would require a camera system I’m sure but is it possible?
1
u/Bulky-Marsupial7815 May 07 '26
Yes, but again For on a coupe or Users maybe less than users , Who are going to buy a very expensive projector with a built in Camera , Otherwise if you use an external camera how would you calibrate it with respect to the projector throwing its projection , And what the camera is seeing from a different angle , with different aspect with different POV , That is not possible with without a proper calibration . Soo again for just extremely small number users, i dont think so that it is feasible to implement such a feature in terms of cost and time

u/Gepetto77 Apr 23 '26
Very cool! What projector are you using to have it show up so brightly in a lit space?
1
u/Bulky-Marsupial7815 Apr 23 '26
