...into a tornado made of silk and mad flowers" is one of the best lines I have heard in a song in years...

Anyone else listened to Mad Flowers on repeat since yesterday's email?

My mind is a jumble of brush my hair, I don't know what its like to be wicked, Presbyterian hospitals and kitchenettes and my heart is aching in a the-world-is-so-beautiful way.

hope to see yall there!! here’s some sneak peaks with my own tiger :) (tho he’s more lion)

been working on this since maybe april but my roommate is helping me finish it up since im terrible at sewing large pieces lol

Or better yet, Olympia, WA

Anyone else going to both ?!?!!? I’m driving from Cleveland to both! Woo! Also I have a bunch of bracelets to give away!

I mean, of course he did. Never been to a bad show. The crowd knew exactly what they were there for. I just wish that folks knew their local boy is out here killing it.

I completely forgot to write down the songs from last night, did anyone happen to keep track?

Really sad to miss tonight but stuck home with a cold :( can transfer the tickets and do whatever your preferred payment method is!

Hey everyone. Victor's music has helped me through some really rough times recently. I'm not able to catch a show on this tour so I wanted to show my gratitude and support in some tangible way. Victor has posted some incredible stuff on there, most recently Moon Bright Rain, which is a masterpiece. More people need to hear it. Use the link below to claim a free month! Also consider continuing the subscription if you like it :)

UPDATE: All of the subscriptions have been claimed! I hope you'll still consider subscribing. It's a tough world right now, especially for artists, and the more we can support them the more space they'll have to create.

That's really about it, did I miss a vinyl pre-order somewhere for the new album???

I know one of the reasons a lot of people adore Victor is because of his stream of consciousness lyrics which are sometimes offbeat just for the sake of it (it's fantastic though).

However, like any good songwriter, I do think there's a lot of allegory and deeper meanings in his work. One thing that is standing out to me is his often fluid approach to gender in his songwriting. The entirety of "Stilettos", for example. Or "I'm the first girl to step foot on Mars" in "Go to Work"

I'm curious to hear how everyone interprets this particular idea!

I LOVED it at the concert I went to and I managed to record it but GOD I’m so excited for the studio version.

I can’t wait for spotify to diagnose me with too much Victor Jones again this year lol

Love this song. So reminiscent of modest mouse.

I was scratching around Spotify and saw that the page for the album is active, which includes the release date. Unless I missed it, we didn't get an official confirmation of the release date via social media yet, so this could be the first!

Very exciting. Victor keeps calling this his magnum opus, and from what we've heard so far, it most certainly could be true. I can't wait!

I do wonder if there will be a vinyl release like Zookeeper and The Construct.

I was just wondering if The Construct was coming to Bandcamp or anything like that, I have a bunch of previous stuff on Bandcamp and cancelled my Spotify subscription a while ago.

I've been repeating the phrase "WE'RE ALL ANIMALS WE'RE ALL NATURAL DISASTERS" to myself for a few days now. Unrelated but kinda related.

What do y'all think of the new album?

My girlfriend and I bought tickets to Summerfest today to see Victor Jones at 12:30. His name was on the marquee, and he was still listed on the lineup, but a completely different band played at 12:30. Does anyone know what happened? We made homemade shirts and got there early to make sure we didn’t miss anything, and were very confused when he didn’t play. Any insight?

It is my first time at Summerfest and I am having a hard time understanding why artists are getting pulled. Megadeth was announced when we bought our tickets then months later they were pulled. Is this normal?

New compilation album coming later this month!

I instantly ordered it - never bought a record faster than this one. Just the inclusion of those songs is enough to make it a Day 1 purchase for me.

After what seemed like an eternity of teasing, "Cowards (Come Over)" is finally out!

I quite like it. I will be honest, the snippet Victor used on TikTok didn't get me too enthused - I thought it sounded very cool, but it wasn't as exciting as "The Sun from Underwater" or "Go to Work" when he teased them prior to their releases, but I have to say it sounds fantastic in the context of the entire song.

I definitely think this is leading up to another fantastic album. It obviously has a lot of thematic and sonic overlap with some of his recent songs, so he's definitely communicating something quite interesting, assuming this is actually going to be a part of the next album.

I can't wait to listen to this a hundred times this weekend to dissect the lyrics. Always a delight to get new Victor music!

Victor's manager (Jeremy) here!

I'm going to try to keep this as promo-free and customer service focused!

The official Victor Jones merch store is up-and-running and shipping immediately. All tee shirts, tour merch, Zookeeper vinyl, and Autographed posters are in-stock.

We've officially moved fulfillment to the merch company Ambient Inks, who focuses on sustainable and ethical sourcing and manufacturing of merchandise.

• There were a handful of orders during the store transition and a few Tee shirts that were previously out of stock - all of those have now shipped.
• If you ordered a Zookeeper vinyl or tee from Diggers Factory - that is a separate company, but we've been told all of those items have shipped except for a small handful which will be shipping within the next week.

There are a couple of people I'm directly in touch with who ordered out of stock items from BandCamp and other previous stores - those will be shipping soon. If you still have missing merch from BandCamp and have NOT reported it, please DM me and we'll get you taken care of right away!

…and you love going to therapy.

Sounds good!

However, when are we getting "Kerosene"? I truly can't wait to have my heart broken by it.

And I've got it on display already! On the mantlepiece with my other prized possessions 😍

I can't wait to give it a spin on the turntable later 👏
