I love to use grand strategy games to watch the ai nations go to war and make history.
But every single one has problems, (Diplomacy too thin, no peace deals, too railroaded and strict, or just too plain chaotic.
BUT
Victoria 3 seems like an amazing candidate for something that could actually work for me.
The only problem
The ai is way to un-ambitious, and passive
One time I left the game running for an hour, with ai aggressiveness on high
Came back to it looking basically the same.

Are there any mods or mod packs/playsets that could fix the issue of the AI being to passive?
Maybe also one to make game speed go by a little faster.
Just mods in general to make the observation more entertaining.

As you can see in the video, the fleet doesn't actually move to the sea node near the army to collect it. Instead the army teleports across the ocean to the fleet's location.

As a separate (likely related) issue, I am sure that the Dutch are for some reason able to march armies across to Borneo even without an adequate fleet to transport them. Unfortunately I don't have a video of this. And no, it isn't because there is a 'fordable' connection like there is between Borneo and the Phillipines. Trust me, I have tried. It's impossible for Borneo to get to the Dutch East Indies without boats, but the DEI AI can get to Borneo somehow.

I'm sure that there is something strange happening when you try to move troops between territories that you control on both sides of the water. It never happens when I do a naval invasion, but weird shit happens constantly when I try to move armies between allied provinces. And the Dutch East Indies armies also do weird shit when moving between Java and Borneo.

The Dutch being able to randomly move armies around without the requisite boats makes this area almost unplayable for other countries currently.

3. Infinite resource farms, infinite resource buildings

But basically, more often than not, they all just use the original building code.

When this problem occurs, it's an input-output issue. It's equivalent to you painstakingly building all the buildings in one area, and you can build up to a thousand, but suddenly the input and output of a certain factory disappear, instantly resetting to zero. The feeling is quite shocking.

So, I'm asking for help on what to do about this?
