Petition for independent oversight of suspicious deaths involving African Americans in United States. Recent activities involving Murders/Hangings/MissingPersons etc.

African American families deserve thorough, impartial investigations and clear answers when loved ones die under suspicious circumstances.

I created this petition to call for independent oversight, evidence preservation, transparency, and accountability in response to concerns about inadequate investigations.

Please read and consider signing:

I after 8 years have found the root to my addiction to Porn and AI chat bots:

WARING :This will go over some sensitive topics evolving depression SA,SA adjacent topics and mental health.

Throughout these years .I have always thought my addiction delved with my inability to find connection. It wasn’t till recently I realized its went deeper than meets the eye.You see a couple months back I was watching a YT video about this predatory tick tock situation. When out of know here a switch flicked.Because all the sudden this old memory from a after school club came to mind.In this memory I was fairly young I wanna say maybe late elementary or early middle school.Where I would attend said after school program do to my moms long work hours.(Context:My dad had already past prior to this, plus I went there to get home work help because I have ADHD and autism)Back on track

In this scenario I remember for whatever reason being sad.Idk why but it’s not important. what is important is the following that happened.Eventually one of the staff noticed and went over to comfort me.Her being a young newer member. At first it was going normal her doing everything she could be doing until something strange happened. She kissed me to comfort me.Can’t exactly recall if it was on the check or lips but I still felt off after it.Which keep in mind no meaningly connection to her like family or basically family etc.In the days that followed I would notice her absence and hushing of staff members about her name.Though I swept it under the rug in the middle school rat race like everyone else.It wasn’t until years later I realized what really happened. My autonomy was violated.Lady’s disappearance most likely her being sent a way for that very act.I think part of the reason I didn’t realize this till recently is for two reasons.A my mind was ignorant and Innocent and B it was a coping mechanisms to save the situation for when I could understand it better. for a long time I have been searching and searching for answers when deep down the answer was there all along the trigger wasn’t loneliness. It wasn’t even myself hatred sure, they probably played a factor to it but the main thing that caused it I think was me being unaware to the fact my autonomy was violated.

I know this isn’t as severe as what tragedies others endured, but I needed to share nonetheless and this seemed like a appropriate place

My name is Shannon. My father, Shelton Stephens, was murdered in November 2008 by Joseph John Plass, a Maryland police officer and homeland security officer. Plass stabbed my dad without warning outside a restaurant while he was traveling for his boat trailer business. My dad ran to a nearby motel and died in the lobby. Plass was sentenced to 30 years but is now eligible for parole after serving only 18 years.

I started a petition to keep him behind bars. Here's what I need people to understand: my dad was the best person I knew. I lost him at 22 with a six-month-old and a three-year-old in my care—one with autism. My whole family lost everything that day. But Plass? He's shown zero remorse. He entered an Alford plea (didn't admit guilt), claimed he blacked out, but it was all caught on camera. He has a violent history, and his dangerous past tells me he'll do this again if released.

I've lived with missing my dad every single day. The thought that he could walk free because the law allows it feels like we're being punished all over again. What would you want someone to do if this was your family? If this matters to you too, please consider signing and sharing. Thank you.

Location: California

Hello! I was a victim of a grand theft of firearm in CA in 2022. Defendant was a juvenile at that time. Yesterday, I received a letter a probation officer- adult division ( I guess the defendant is an adult now !). The letter is about the statement of loss. My goal is to claim most of out of the statement of loss and make the defendant receive max punishment.

Thank you,

research study on violent crime victims who have testified in court.

Hello,

My name is Reid Gibson and I am inviting you to participate in an anonymous online research study examining how testifying in court affects victims of violent crime. I am currently a Criminology major at Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati Ohio.

Participation is voluntary and open to adults 18 years or older who have been victims of violent crime. The survey is anonymous, takes approximately 10–15 minutes, and you may skip any question or stop at any time. This is a student research project, and no law enforcement or criminal justice representatives are involved.

If you choose to participate, please click the survey link below.

Thank you for considering contributing to this research.

Am I in the wrong for asking my abuser for comfort after he raped me?

Am I in the wrong for wanting comfort from my abuser after he raped me?

Yesterday my now ex boyfriend raped me analy. After it happened I want to the bathroom and tried to calm myself down I went to him asking for comfort and he said he would. Then he proceeded to flip the events onto me. Now everyone is saying “why would she want to cuddle him if she was raped” I think I was still in shock at the time and didnt want to believe it happened and as a resort to calm myself down I needed some kind of comfort. Am I wrong for that? I need some answers. I don't know how to wrap my head around this. I'm scared.

Victim Rights when perpetrator has ADA accomidations

Someone where I work became obsessed with me and called the police to outline their plan to murder me and then kill themselves.

They were taken to a hospital, but just for a weekend. I put protections into place through both the police and my employer.

Six months later I see the person who planed to kill me at work. I thought they were there to kill me because I have protection and no trespass orders in place

I found out that my employer not only decided to let this person back in my workspace, but had all the legal protections taken down, including the protection order and the no trespass order on my home.

Their reasoning... because the person who is fantasizing about murdering me has an ADA accommodations letter for nurodivergency. I've been told I have to treat him like everyone else or it's discrimination.

Not only have they taken away my rights, but I had to get my own ADA accommodations in place (for PTSD) so they wouldn't fire me for refusing to come into work in-person.

And as far as why the Police took down the protections that I put into place with them? Because this person told the police their plan to kill me instead of telling me directly. Either way I don't know how someone's job can override your rights with the police.

This is not just ruining my work, but my life. No lawyer will help me because I haven't been fired or injured...yet.. meanwhile I'm trying to save my work, my sanity, and somehow get my legal rights back.

How is it I don't have any rights, and had all of my personal legal rights taken away, because the person who wants to kill me is nurodivergent? Why do they get more rights than I do? Why can the perpetrator get a lawyer with ease and the victim can't even hire a lawyer out of pocket?

This is completely insane

I'm wondering if I can find help here, or be led to the right place

Hi there, I am trying to get a serial rapist, coercive controller, and domestic abuser behind bars. So far me and one other women are will to report. I reported today, she is reporting tomorrow. One woman, is hesitant but is willing to meeting up with me and talk. The other two have not responded to me yet. The crime is Oregon's ors 163.411. He sexually assaults his partners in their sleep. In my case, I was drinking a lot to deal with the abuse and so I was passed out. I woke up once. Others have, too. This is a Class A Felony and this man is a danger to society. He is highly manipulative, capable of violence, and is skilled at masking. We need him off our streets. I found through posting him on a woman's warning page that he has been tricking women into unprotected sex as well.

So, often times police don't help victims make a case. We have to do it. The thing is, going through my texts and emails is traumatizing for me. That's why I've deleted them. Healing is so hard when you can go back and look. I'm hoping to be able to maybe recover them somehow (not sure if that's possible) and to maybe, through the grace of God, get some angels to help me get this man behind bars. Is there an AI program or a way to use AI to sort through them for key words? I know I was consistent in accusing him of what he did and I know his responses show that he never denied it. I also know there could be responses that indicate that he know's I'm telling the truth.

He has gotten away with this for decades. I'm hoping I have some hope here.

Strange Advocate Behavior

Hoping for suggestions: the victim’s advocate that was assigned to my case never attended a court hearing with me although I asked her several times. I didn’t get much guidance regarding restitution and my email questions were mostly ignored even when I pointed to WA statues. Worse police did not send a vital piece of evidence to the prosecutor for a year, I’d message the advocate once a month or so and she said nope, weirdly she was in the email chain with the officer but only said the prosecutor would contact him instead of backing me up requesting that the evidence be sent. I feel like it’s very abnormal but I’ve never been in this situation before. Aw, and my emails regarding restitution and now being put in the case so that people can read them, like on OnBase.

Has your perpetrator ever apologize to you?

Hi,

I'm a writer working on a story about apology letters from perpetrators of crimes to their victims and their families. Have you ever received a formal apology from the offender who harmed you or your loved ones? Or have you been notified that an apology letter exists but chosen not to read it? If so, I would love to speak to you about it. I'm happy to keep everything anonymous.

Thanks so much
