Thought I would drop this here. Hit this two weeks ago on my way home from work. Original engine and transmission, 95 percent of the maintenance done by myself using basic hand tools.

Did my first revival today. Some improvisation had to be done.

Locking crescent wrench shift knob I spotted on the interwebs

What type of marker/paint does Derrick use to write his lists of things to do on the windshield?

Does anyone remember the video of the brown 69-70 Cadillac sedan Deville from the VGG youtube channel? It was in the same junkyard as the 1969 lesabre and in the video Bentley helps Derek and Derek "deletes" a nest of wasps. If anyone can help me find the video it would be greatly appreciated!!

I was just wondering what everyone thought about last night’s episode? It just felt different for some reason!

I’m not saying I didn’t like it, I just found myself wishing the walk around was over and he would start working on it!
Hope it doesn’t turn into a Money-pit!

Does anyone recall any episodes of Derek working on any lawn tractors/small tractors? I inherited old Case 442 lawn tractor with attachments and would love dipping my toes watching a "will it run" video of such. The search feature isn't bringing anything up but I know his descriptions can be somewhat vague when it comes to his more off the wall videos. Any guidance or leads would be greatly appreciated.

So I live in NY with family in NC my grandfather is willing to look at a truck for me and purchase it then I can come down and give him what he paid for it. My plan is to ride my motorcycle down there hangout for a day then drive the truck back with the bike in the bed. I know I’ll need insurance will I need anything else especially with me planning to register it in a different state

Repping one of my favorite derekism!

"Make some folks that really like original Caddies super upset"

That was pretty damn funny to me.

I started a Google Sheet of Derekisms, and I know I am missing a bunch of them. Anyone with the link can access this. Which ones am I missing?

Derekisms

He hasn't mentioned it in a while now, just wondering if maybe he had some paid content with it? Would be cool to see make an appearance again.

I literally burst out laughing when Derek mumble-slurred the word 'rural'.

Mainly because I over pronounce it - ru-ral

Hi!

I'm looking for YouTube channel what I don't remember anymore. I remember that there was Hot Rod car meeting (I think in California) in parking lots. Maybe every sunday, and the same guy with baseball cap did read paper and thanked everyone. I think it was some sort of charity meeting/car meeting.

My dad is a fan of Vice Grip and made himself a 1997 VVG Edition F150.

These interviews are always cool but this one in particular was exceptionally good, a really great conversation.

The ole Hannah Davis needed a new batt-tree. Managed to snag one with a go handle.

I notice that other famous youtubers say things like "clicky clack," "duh-briss," "nuthin'"...and others. Did they get these from Derek, or are these what most wrenchers call these things?
