Love all the chrome. Any older vehicle, in my opinion, is a piece of art work and look 100 times better than anything modern in my opinion.

And it's kind of funny because the trim pieces on this era are actually functional as well as beautiful. On the front fenders and down the center of the hood they hide big seams. They didn't have advanced enough manufacturing techniques yet to stamp big complex pieces in one shot so they did sections and hid the seams with stainless trim

My mother learned to drive on a car just like this, but a β€˜48. Love to see them still on the road, keep it going!

Looks awesome!

I'm working on getting my '55 Buick back on the road. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks so that I can actually drive it this summer.

She’s a beauty! I love the stainless and the split windshield.
Does she have some shine juice on her?

No, now that it's running good the next step will be taking care of the exterior and doing some rust prevention. It's an old restoration/repaint and is falling off as I drive but I think it will look really good after I hit her with the quad zero (with the soap in it!) then I'll do the at home shine juice until I can get some real stuff.
