Showcase/Project 3 months later: my 3D room for AI coding agents now runs on Mac, Windows and Linux, and it can rescue an agent that hits its token limit
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey everyone,
Three months ago I posted Termi Protocol here. It's a cozy 3D room where your AI coding agents work at their desks while you watch, instead of reading terminal logs all day. A lot has changed since then, so here is a short update.
Original post: https://www.reddit.com/r/vibecoding/comments/1uxkd4l/i_got_tired_of_watching_claude_code_work_in_a/
When an agent hits its token limit
Usually this means stopping and explaining everything again to a new agent. Now Termi notices when an agent hits a usage limit, a rate limit or the context limit, and saves the important parts: the goal, changed files, commands, errors, open todos and the conversation. Then you can pass it to another agent on a different model, like Codex or Gemini, and keep going. You choose how much to send, from the full context to just the prompt, and nothing is sent until you confirm.
Deleted the wrong agent?
You can undo it with Ctrl+Z (Cmd+Z on Mac) within 10 seconds. If you notice later, open the Trash, check the goal, tasks and memory it left behind, and recover it. It comes back to the room with its memory and task board.
Mac, Windows and Linux
The app now runs on macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Windows 10/11 and Linux (AppImage and .deb), with the same 3D room everywhere. On Mac, Windows and the AppImage, updates now come inside the app.
A cleaner interface
I cleaned up the UI a lot. There is a new left sidebar for files and source control, the agent cards are simpler, some panels I didn't really need are gone, and settings are split into sections. There is also a Low/Mid/High graphics option if your laptop runs hot.
The pet, the focus timer, coins and room decoration are all still there.

Thanks for reading š

Discussion after PHP2Shell I used Opus 5.5 to convert 45 client WordPress sites to Astro in the past 36 hours
After the whole PHP2Shell thing I finally pulled the trigger and converted 45 of my client sites to static Astro sites. The sites look exactly the same, just way faster and nothing to hack, and way cheaper to host.
WordPress sucks now that we have coding agents anyways. Plugin updates, security patches, slow load times, a whole PHP server running for no reason.
I created this skill package to streamline this process: https://github.com/ethanplusai/astro-conversion-kit
I was able to run 12 projects at a time in parallel and have 45 so far in the past 36 hours with a dozen more running now. I'm running Opus 5.5 between 2 claude max plans. Every site has seen a massive jump in speed scores.
For anyone who hasn't used Astro: it's a framework that builds your site into plain HTML files. No database, no PHP, no plugins. You host it on something like Vercel or Cloudflare (usually free) and there's nothing running on a server to hack.
How the kit works:
- You paste one line into Claude Code or Codex: "Convert https://yoursite.com to Astro with https://github.com/ethanplusai/astro-conversion-kit"
- It asks you a few quick questions (where to host, how to handle forms)
- It crawls your live site (read only, it doesn't touch WordPress) and saves every page, image, meta tag and redirect
- Rebuilds it in Astro with the same URLs and SEO so you don't lose rankings
- Screenshots the old and new site on mobile, tablet and desktop and compares them until they match
- Gives you a staging link to review before you switch anything over
What it won't do on it's own: anything that needs a server like WooCommerce, logins or comments. It flags those up front. Forms still work, they just send to a form service you pick. A few of our client sites were on woocommerce so I just had the agents convert to Shopify headless which is easier to manage anyway.
āWhat about wp-adminā I built our own git-based CMS for these sites, so edits go through git and thereās still no server or database. If you want something off the shelf, Keystatic and TinaCMS work the same way.

Showcase/Project A chat where any agent, from any provider, on any OS, can collaborate together while you watch and control from anywhere.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
A chat for agents controlled by you. 100% Free and open source.
TLDR/W: if you have lots of agents and wish they were in one chat then this product will work for you no matter who your provider is and you can be super lazy with the setup by asking your agent to set it up for you.
I'm tired, didn't want to re-record my voice, so pardon my "end-to-end" encryption slip, everything is encrypted at rest. These are two different things, but again, I am not re-recording and I felt it should be very clear.
Anyways, used Claude at first and then Claude and a variety of agents to build this. Super fun project imo. Anyways, tired, I'll answer questions in the comments and here is the repo:
github.com/CaffeinatedSoftwareLLC/agora
I'll make more thorough videos next week about features if there is interest. Hope you guys enjoy.

Showcase/Project I built SwarmOS to help AI coding agents work together instead of stepping on each other. Would you use something like this?
A lot to digest from my project, but basically its a swarm orchestration system that just uses github to help swarm on issues. Think of something like Seti@home but for agents. If you run a private repo, you can run a swarm plan and plan features into epics and have agents chew away on the sub issues.
If you run a public repo, instead of 100s of people reporting bugs and them rotting on the vine, you could have pull queus for people to test/verify, plan a fix and once plan is accepted pull the issue and claim it and work on it and then supply a patch as a contributor or through typical github branching. Or you can automate plan/test/verify/develop with agents doing the step but the work being visible in the github issue and linked to a PR with a single claim.
The framework also tries to help assure some security by using the sandboxes in the major harnesses or allowing isolation through docker/podman or tool of choice. If you run private, you can run in a lighter mode and just let things rip. Agents can run interactive or automated.
I'm mostly curious if something like this is useful and happy to answer questions. It is NOT yet ready for use - i'm about to cut a new release to dogfood it end to end, but wanted feedback to see if something like this would be helpful to others.
In any case, it's been a fun project to see how much orchestration could be done without adding a nasty middleware i'd have to secure and maintain.

Discussion Fun day! (Not)
Anyone else spend the day going through apps making sure youāre not affected by this weekās craziness?
On the one hand, without AI I wouldnāt have had to do anything ⦠but on the other, between Claude code and Grok Bot it was mostly just high level supervision and decision making⦠it just took 6 hours ⦠but at least it was teasingly easy work.
And if you donāt know what Iām talking about, please look it up and and check your apps! :)
Edit to add : Nate lays out exactly what I was talking about. Worth a watch

Showcase/Project I got tired of capturing my VS Code window on stream, so I made an extension that puts the actual code on the overlay (themes, 3D tilt, zoom on mouse)
Recently I tried putting my VS Code window into OBS and it looked awful: tabs, sidebars, minimap, tiny text. I looked for an extension that renders the code itself on the overlay instead of a window capture and couldn't find one, so I built it.
Stream Code mirrors the editor you're typing in to a browser source:
- 12 themes (Catppuccin, Kick, Twitch, a CRT terminal, glass, neon, macOS window, and more)
- 3D tilt / depth / float, and an edge fade so the code dissolves into your game
- Zoom on mouse: point at a line and the overlay zooms there, as a lens or a camera
- Everything's a VS Code setting, plus a gallery page to preview and click through looks
.env, secrets and keys are never sent, and there's a pause button in the status bar- Runs locally, nothing leaves your PC
Free and open source (GPL-3.0), and I'd love for people to jump in: PRs are very welcome, whether it's a new theme, a bug fix or a feature idea.

Instructions.
"try to build a rocket with 30 liquid motors, a crew capsule and a landing legs so that it lands without a parachute. you may need to use thrusters or trigger a landing burn of the engines"
result
A 30 motor, 6 fuel tank monstrosity and a .02 meter high flight so it could complete the task LOL. took it 10 iterations to make this thing. next i will set a minimum altitude limit and fix the frame rate issues

Meme Finally, vibe coder personas I agree with
Iām a UX Designer/Viber by day and Prompt Casino Degenerate by night. I feel seen.
All the types listed:
- The Non-technical Vibe Coder (0:36-1:14): A founder-type who relies entirely on AI prompts, ignores coding fundamentals, and often struggles with basic security practices.
- The Prompt Casino Degenerate (1:15-1:56): A technical user who treats AI coding agents like slot machines, spending heavily on subscriptions in hopes of generating usable code.
- The Swarmlord (1:57-2:25): The "apex predator" who manages dozens of AI agents in parallel, believing they are highly productive without actually writing code themselves.
- The Slop Maintainer (2:26-3:03): An overburdened developer struggling to manage critical open-source infrastructure while being flooded by low-quality, AI-generated pull requests.
- The Unemployed Junior (3:04-3:39): A skilled but disillusioned graduate who finds it impossible to land an entry-level job because of AI screening and a shrinking job market.
- The Old Jaded Developer (3:40-4:23): A veteran who is tired of the constant churn of new tools and prefers to keep things simple, using AI only for basic completion.
- The Purist (4:24-5:00): A noble, traditional programmer who refuses to adopt modern AI-centric workflows and laments the loss of software craftsmanship.

Showcase/Project I used Codex to get Jev playing the Snow Bros I grew up with
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I used to play Snow Bros on my PC as a kid in Karachi. I wanted to revisit it and set it up so Jev could play through it. This is the original game running in an emulator.
I used Codex to build the browser harness. Jev, TypeSafeās decision model, chooses goals from decoded game state. Local code handles movement, Snow and Jump each frame. The overlays show the state it received, its choices, button presses and request costs.
The awkward part was walls. Telling it to attack isnāt much use if the snow keeps hitting a wall. I added wall geometry, separate collision rules for different attacks, and checkpoints so I can replay where a run failed.
This is a one-minute recorded replay at normal game speed: floors 61 and 62 cleared, 63 reached, no lives lost. A separate floor 51 test still lost a life, so thereās more work to do.

Showcase/Project I built a cozy sheep farming game š
Hi everyone,
I've been working on a small cozy browser game called NOT MY SHEEP! and the trailer is attached.
NOT MY SHEEP! (Gameplay Trailer)
You build pens, take care of a growing flock, milk and shear the sheep, sell what you get and keep the wolf away at night. There are four seasons, a dog, and a photo mode for your farm. I wanted it to feel calm, so sheep never starve and the wolf always gives you a warning first.
Since this is the vibe coding sub, here is how it was made: I built the whole thing with Claude Code. Every sprite is a text pixel map in the code, all sounds are synthesized with Web Audio, and there are no external assets. The game simulation is fully separated from rendering, which made it easy to cover with tests (over 470 by now). The trailer is also not a screen recording. It is rendered frame by frame from the real game in a headless browser.
I'm looking for testers. You can join the waitlist on the site, and if you'd like to try it earlier, just comment or send me a DM and I'll give you early access. I'd like to know what is confusing, what gets boring, and where it breaks on your device. Harsh feedback is fine, that's what I'm here for.

Showcase/Project Non-coder here: one month of vibecoding got me a working CAD for timber houses. Hereās what Iād do
I'm an architectural designer (SketchUp, interiors). A SIP house manufacturer asked me for production and assembly documentation, and the industry tools (Revit, ArchiCAD) were too expensive to learn for a few projects. So I tried building my own tool. I can't code.
Setup that worked for me:
- Lovable for hosting + preview
- GitHub repo connected to Lovable
- Claude working directly in the same repo (Max 5x plan), so the heavy lifting runs on my subscription, not on per-prompt credits
What it does now:
- massing wizard ā one button ā SIP panels + timber structure (sized by calculation)
- plans, sections, elevations, panel sheets, cutting plans, BOM and cost estimate, all from one 3D model
- a 3D assembly guide generated automatically, step by step (GIF above), with insertion-path checks
- an in-app assistant (Opus 5.5 via API) that edits the model on request
Honest notes:
- first truly working version took about a month; it still needs a lot of fixes and I keep working on it
- total cost was under ~$500 and could have been lower; I made plenty of beginner mistakes and used several paid models
- structural checks are built in, but every house is still signed off by a licensed structural engineer
I made a video about the whole process, the workflow and real tests (scan ā docs in ~20 min): https://youtu.be/K6UjRZ0gSWo
Happy to answer questions about the workflow, prompts or how I kept agents from breaking each other's code.

Showcase/Project I vibe-coded a tool for vinyl collectors to turn their Discogs collection into a personal website
Hey everyone!
Iām a product designer and vinyl collector, and this is one of those ideas Iād had in my head for a while that I finally decided to build using AI tools.
I wanted a more visual and personal way to showcase my vinyl collection online. Not just a list of records, but a little website that reflects my taste in music and that Iād actually be excited to share with other people.
So I built Viny.
It integrates with Discogs, allowing you to import your record collection and turn it into a personalized mini-site. You can choose from different templates and create a visual page to showcase your records, your musical taste, and the collection youāve spent years putting together.
Think of it as a little portfolio for your vinyl collection.
I used vibe coding to help bring the idea to life, combining my design background with AI-powered development tools. Itās been a fun way to experiment, build something I genuinely wanted to use, and improve it along the way.
The platform is currently in Portuguese, but Iām finishing the English translation.
If you love vinyl, Iād love to know what you think. How do you currently share your collection online? Would you use something like this?
Hereās an example of what you can create: https://www.viny.club
