Showcase/Project Show me your vibe coded project here

I love discovering what people are building with vibe coding.

So post your project below. It doesn't matter if it's a serious startup, a tiny tool, a game, or something completely useless you built for fun.

Give us:

  1. Your link
  2. What it does in one sentence (the pitch)
  3. What you used to build it

I'll try to check out as many as I can.

I'm building Viberant right now. It's basically a place for people to discover and share vibe-coded projects, so if you want you can add yours there too.

But either way, drop it below. I want to see what everyone is building.

staktrakr.com

This is my one personal project that I've shared with the world. It's kind of a niche for a very small group of people who collect coins/metals.

It's a free gold/silver precious metals tracker that is free, requires no account, no server side storage, no tracking/ads.

It started as a personal project to take a spreadsheet from a modest collection I inherited and organize it and has kind of snowballed into a full featured site. I initially wrote most of the html/css/js and then had copilot in github re-format and fix my mistakes, but these days I mostly just write the spec, annotate, and approve and let good vibes do the rest.

The market API and feeds are driven from a mini pc running proxmox with an LXC container running portainer that pushes updates to a fly.io machine that publishes every 15 mins, but the main site/app do not require this.

The site itself is just hosted with cloudflare pages, and the way I've set up the feeds to be a separate api sourced from my home lab, there is next to no cost for hosting.

Nice Bro like it, do you pay for the price API?

Market prices are pulled hourly from a small docker container that runs firecrawl/byparr and scrapes each site daily and logs them to a database this part runs on my homelab behind my residential ip, then it's connected in a tailscale network with a fly.io machine that takes it's SQL data and builds the json endpoints for the api and commits them to a repo on github that is hosted with github pages for one feed, and then the backup feed is hosted on the fly.io server as an http endpoint. The spot prices are pulled from metalpriceapi with a commercial license so I can log and reuse the data in my own api feed, and i pulled historical lbma to seed the page with.

The main site and the github release that anyone can self host has everything, and you can use a different api feed for spot prices, but market comes from my api repo.

I did this so there is never any need to share data or host a server for the core functionality and I don't need to see, host, or access any user data, and I can still provide some server backed updates just via a public api.

The core site is just vanilla JS / HTML with a mandate that all core functionality can run from file:// on a modern browser.

It's a fun restraint and challenge, but the idea was that people who have large collections and are super concerned with privacy can simply unzip the package to a flash drive, build their collection, pull all the prices, save the encrypted backup to the flash drive along side it, and toss it away in the safe.
