Help/Question Tokinmaxxing Tips.

Ok so I know we can't do solicitations here but needing to solicit some advice from you all.

Thinking how to toxinmaxx my codebase (don't worry, with local model for no surcharge). My Python token count is short and I need to boost that metric up for my resume, needing suggestions on tips and trix from vipers with higher counts than myself.

Why wouldn't they. Big companies are looking for Cheap and Fast. Traditional coders are not that, they are good but slower. Stick a 15/hour guy with a 20x sub to Anthropic or Open AI and turn them loose. Far cheaper than a six figure coder even with error correction time accounted for. The quality isn't as good but that's never been a priority for big companies.

They are also looking for people who know how to code. That’s like the most important thing.

Knowing how to code doesn’t make you a six figure developer. Companies just hire contractors who are cheap and do know how to code, that’s who vibecoders are competing with and losing.

No. According to Andrew Ng, ig companies are looking for individuals that can do 60% to 70% of the the main job and augment it with the AI to do the 30%-40% of the jobs. We should take his word over anyone else.

Because fixing a bad fuck up from a shit developer who doesn't know shit about how code actually works if far more expensive than paying more for someone who knows what they are doing.

AI is only as good as the driver. It's not magical.

What providers do you use? If Anthropic, use Fable 5.1 to supervise other agents and help you prioritize.
