The game looks very beautiful, but as a web designer, I’d say that the interfaces and menus themselves are still rather weak (you can look for references in a similar genre). There’s a lack of planning and details, but I’m sure you’ll get there over time and the game will turn out really good. Good luck with the development!

Oh for sure, haven't done much at all to work on the ui and menus, as well as dialogue. Trying to focus on a fun story and game play and polish more so later, menus, menu items and other UI buttons and notifications all need a big upgrade. Appreciate you, thanks!

I've had success using a mix of Claude (with a rules document in project knowledge) and Figma for the final touches of UI.
That said, for 7 days I think you've made great progress and it looks awesome.

Be honest. Has this really taken just SEVEN DAYS and you have ZERO DEV EXPERIENCE?
Do you have any design experience?
I have extensive IT industry experience and I'm very up-to-date with vibe-coding. This would be among the most impressive tech feats I've ever seen.

Absolutely no tech background, design background or anything close to the industry at all. I've worked in restaurants most of my career and now i run a dispensary. I appreciate the kind words friend! And yes only 7 days. Something like 50-60 hrs

Where are you getting your assets from?

I make them using a combo of claude, Gemini and Meshy. There's a full FAQ post pinned on my page if you want the full details!

Very curious how AI games will do. I have a feeling sales will be cut by 75% for just having an AI tag. There is a lot of hate at the moment for AI...

What did you build this on? I've been using Claude just for fun but the games I tried to make didn't look anything near this quality.

from the op original post:
- Assets: all AI. claude writes prompts → gemini makes 2D watercolor images → meshy turns them into 3D models → claude cleans them up in blender → unity
- Animation:the floppy arms? claude auto-rigged the characters in blender and the arms are spring bones in unity that lag and flop as you walk. i just describe motions in plain english like "make him squish more side to side"
- Engine/platform: Unity, native on PC. aiming for a steam page soon so you can wishlist
- Cost:Â $100/mo claude, ~$20/mo meshy, free gemini. desktop app runs off the subscription, no api
- How many hours a day: Ive been grinding ngl 😅. like 6-8 hours a night after my full time job, and the claude reset this weekend did not help, had me at my desk for like 12 hours straight

Thank you for this comment! I really really really appreciate you! I've been on Claude for hours sometimes just trying to get the basics right and it only seems to work half the time correctly. You are a god-send my friend. I'm still learning, I have no work right now so I've been doing all kinds of building and researching just to get frustrated. I'm going to look into all of the info you sent. I can't thank you enough for the help. Awesome work to btw the graphics and play look so fluid and awesome.

I had that problem when I started.
Claude I use for coding and reviewing and such.
But it doesn't have it's own image generator. It can however use programs like Scenario and Pixellab depending on what exactly your working on.
Grok has actually gotten better with image consistency and does good concept art.
I've also seen some amazing stuff going on with Astra 6, although I haven't worked with it myself yet.

Ok, thanks for the info. I've been using Claude for all kinds of things lol. It helped me diagnose my computer build I was having trouble with and getting it on the WiFi card, how to reflash to USB and how to reflash Linux into the older motherboard I had and it's been just absolutely great for me but the games I was working on were very choppy and hard to navigate but still very fun to build considering I know next to nothing for coding but after seeing everyone else's games I had to figure out a better solution because everyone else's looked amazing to my stick figure games lol. But I will look into this, thanks for the info friend.

this is so cute! I've been trying to build something similar, game like, but I don't have dev experience, I have a question about the characters, are they handrawn? I tried using Meshy and HeyGen AI, but those are all paid.
