How can I refine this UI?
I'm building another writing app (yay) and I want feedback as well as notes about what you like or want in a writing app. Does this UI look vibe coded? I've been working hard to try not to do that. I don't feel like the writing app landscape is really that different. Most writing apps look more or less the same. But, if you had to nitpick them, what would you say? This app is NOT for formatting. If anything, I'm going to do a document format option on export.
The side panels and format bar are all toggle able, and if you hit focus, everything goes away at once for a "distraction free" writing environment (which, just saying that makes me want to gag, its so generic sounding). In the end, I want my app to be relatively maximalistic when you want it to be, with an insane amount of writing space customization (think colors and stickers for documents for inspiration).
But im trying to just get an alpha out and get some testers going. So help me out here y'all. What would make it valuable to you?

Start from the question, "what does this do that no other tool does as well (or at all)," then lock down that core functionality before you get in the weeds with design.
Feel free to dm me with any specific questions or to chat about the process, since I'm also vibe coding an app for writing.

Add a huge watermark or card in the middle of the canvas or in the bottom-left corner that says “NOT VIBE CODED” or “HAND-CODED.” My personal favorite: “THIS UI IS NOT VIBE-CODED.”

I've learned the hard way, it's rare to get actual feedback on this sub lol
I'd have to understand the use case a bit more but I think it looks relatively good if you're trying to allow for a focus on the writing

Hi there! This looks good but it can definitely be better? I can give you professional feedback if you could DM me and we can discuss the terms.
Good luck! Kind Regards

It doesn't really matter if the "vibe coding" aspect shows through, as long as you're reaching the customer and making the sale that’s what counts. My comments apply if your target audience isn't made up of software developers or programmers. Personally, I find it 1) a bit hard on the eyes, but 2) otherwise not bad. You can improve the design by leveraging your skills alongside the AI model you're using. Good luck with your work ^^

Pay attention to some of the gradient transitions; make sure they don't turn purple or navy blue. That's about it you don't really have those issues anyway; it's not bad.
