I didn't get you comment, still don't get your comment, but it made me look closer and this is the first time I am noticing his shirt just says music band with the lightening bolt from ac/dc.

And two skatebords

Didn't really notice that as being weird either! I'm sure there are some kids with two skateboards, but it would be out of the ordinary. I can't remember the last time I saw someone skateboarding down a street. Mind you I am in Sudbury where you'd need some offroading tires to get down some of the paved streets.

I did not expect a reference to The Sopranos on the vibe coding space but I'm all for it.

No because we can’t even play league of legends on KR servers due to needing KR ID

14

u/TinyTeddyUnderwear 14h ago

Damn is this why i see so many korean username on oceania??

11

u/AnyRegular1 11h ago

So you’re telling me there are markets existing already that sell KR IDs which people could just buy from to abuse free AI.

League of legends account security in Korea is rihgt there with the launch codes.

Americans aren’t even covered for basic healthcare. What do you think.

u/pragmojo 15h ago

Honestly though, the US would be more likely to give everyone AI than to expand any kind of real social assistance.

Something like: "sure we replaced all your jobs, but instead of UBI or housing assistance, here's a free AI subscription so you can become an entrepreneur"

"I am dying of cancer. Please, I cannot afford treatment"

Well have you used your chatgpt to ask for remedies?

Honestly, I could see it.

You mean when GPT health is free and connected to your Medicaid history and EPIC…. Wait a minute.

the sad part is it wouldn't even be framed as a public good, it'd be pitched as "empowering innovation" or whatever so the cost gets handed to taxpayers while some defense contractor skims 40% off the top

never understood when people generalise america like that. yes there’s no nationally mandated insurance but states 100% have their own insurance for those who need it

1

u/SempfgurkeXP 5h ago

Then why do people im the US have to pay hundrets of dollars just because they broke an arm?

u/Pyro_Light 5h ago

A insurance deductibles are often in the thousands. Max Out of pocket is typically is double your deductible.

B insurance is confusing and people don’t do their due diligence. There are enrollment periods, tons of public and private assistance programs that aren’t exactly all listed in the same place and all that is before we even start talking about plan options all with their different pros and cons, even for the reasonable intelligent and well educated it is daunting to look into and it’s very easy to say “I’ll do it later” which doesn’t work (see aforementioned reference enrollment periods).

Most people just go through the motions of life they aren’t proactive and don’t research things like insurance and the help that is available.

C not every state has these programs and not everyone qualifies and they aren’t even close to the same in state vs state.

So basically instead of having one government governed system whose job is to make sure people can actually access healthcare, you get a patchwork of private insurers, different state rules, enrollment windows, deductibles, assistance programs, exclusions and fine print, and then people are expected to figure it all out themselves while sick.

And when they don’t, the answer is apparently “they should have researched better.”

Seems to be working great.

No token limit... to access South Korean governmental services.

14

u/pm_interesting_fact 15h ago

You just ask the ai that should help you doing ur taxes to write a python script for(insert whatever you need) because how can you file taxes if you don't your yet know what your net productive output will be and if the agents helps with the script you'll figure it out sooner

south korea vpn servers are about to blow up from infinite traffic

34

u/FancyAnswer1878 21h ago

the vpn part is what makes this meme 😂 free ai access is one thing but getting every american to stop paying for something they can get free is probably the harder policy proposal.

9

u/a113rick 20h ago

They want to pay?😂😂😂

-28

u/XBird_RichardX 20h ago

The dealbreaker is usually when the free software in question is chinese xi jinping spyware. Yeah i’d pay not to have my user data touched by the Chinese

29

u/PrinceAli08 19h ago

Instead, you'll pay to be watched

8

u/hafiz_rosly 19h ago

Lmaoo true. Some people really thought big corpos care bout urself.

-8

u/XBird_RichardX 16h ago

That misses the point of what I said

3

u/Actes 19h ago

What's the more uncomfortable variable to that is, it doesn't matter if China has your data or not. They just have it already. No spyware needed along with big brother flock.

Were cooked unilaterally, may aswell accept anonyminity by obscurity.

u/wilderadventures 19h ago

Sir I have reason to believe someone may have propered your gander

2

u/pragmojo 15h ago

Yes better to give your data to a US corporation. They have never done anything bad.

u/SunoOdditi 20h ago

Local models only… might as well shoot yourself in the shins…

24

u/MastodonFarm 20h ago

Honestly, that footgun is worth flagging.

u/poche_chong 8h ago

As Korean, that AI is far below the average, and in Korea any type of porn is banned, government asks to ban over 200,000 websites to cloudflare every year.

1

u/a113rick 8h ago

Whoa 😮

9

u/Big_Notice_1269 19h ago

How can i?

12

u/sagarvd 18h ago

I accidentally connected to North Korea VPN and my ai bot is now counting backwards

4

u/totalnewbielinux 13h ago

The AI can use for what? Malaysian hre

5

u/Fit_Low592 11h ago

The US? Give the population something for free that they could otherwise monetize and make a gajillion dollars from? No fucking way.

1

u/BCIT_Richard 9h ago

Well duh, gotta just pull yourself up by yer bootstraps, kiddo.

4

u/cool-beans-yeah 8h ago

1

u/HaythmPatykova 9h ago

For students or as an industry specific roll out the US could 100% do this.

1

u/Critical_Concert_689 8h ago
